Default Here we go!

Well just got off the phone with the powder coating guys and I am getting my frame and a-arms done next week. I got it stripped down over the last month.. This weekend Ill be ordering All my parts and its a big part list

My list as of now..
Dyno jet kit
Hotcams shim kit
Kibblewhite valves and springs
Hotcam stage 1 intake
Magnum clutch
Cylinder works 440 kit
Rental chain and sprockets
Big gun evo r exhaust or yosi RS2, not sure yet.
Fender set Black carbon look
Itp and baja wheels with holeshot tires
rear wheel bearings
oversized radiator
and some other stuff I cant remember at the moment!

Trying to find a decent used headlight, mine is cracked if I can't I'm just going with race fenders.

One question though my swingarm has a 1 inch crack in it. What are they made of so I can get it welded.

Man I cant wait to start putting it all together, its gonna be a brand new beast!

sounds like a nice list..id recomend the yoshi exhaust..i love mine and ive heard many positive reviews, although im sure the big bore guys will chime in with a possible better alternative..

the swingarm is aluminum so you will have to have someone tig weld it at least thats what i would do..

good luck and lets see some pics!

you will be pleased with the healthy and "easy" gain in power from those mods.

swingarm is aluminum, it doesnt actually need to be TIG welded, you can MIG aluminum but the biggest problem is finding someone who can do it tig or mig.

most people dont even realize, you can stick weld aluminum...good luck finding anyone who still does that. i have done it with decent results but rods are expensive and i have a spool gun for the MIG.

Well there is a welding shop close buy that I'm gonna take it to. I'm sure they can figure it out. And I hope its gonna be a good set up I mean its no ltr,but we shall see

Before I put it away for the winter I raced a banshee down a coal road he was bone stock but a very good rider and me and him were neck and neck down the whole road,so the stock z can boogie for what it is.

+1 At my dad's work all the mechanic does is stick welding. He stick welded my sprocket with the retainers on it.

i never said stick welding was dead, it is still the ONLY way to weld out in windy environment and is a huge part of my day on some of our jobs.

stick welding ALUMINUM is dead. AL is much easier to weld with MIG or TIG and almost no application with aluminum NEEDS to be welded outside, so there is almost no need for AL sticks.
