All These Z400 Vs. Whatever Threads

From now on, all the threads in the Loft about "Z400 Vs. Whatever" will either be moved to the "Non-Suzuki Talk" sub-forum, or just deleted outright.

We have all kinds of quad owners on this site, and what typically happens is some Z owner insults another brand, and the threads result in a flame-fest. I'm tired of seeing it in the Loft. First off, if you want to find out how a Z will compare to something else, then just search - or go race it, and as Mr Drag says, "Run your bike, not your mouth." The answer is here somewhere. Second, all the hypothetical situations don't matter worth a damn, because there are simply too many variables.

Example: Stock '05 Z400. When it came out with all the changes, one very popular magazine compared a straight-up stock machine to Doug Gust's full-blown race Yoshimura Z-450. Doug was on his 450, and a very good, legitimate racer was on the stocker. Doug (obviously) owned him, and the lap times showed it. They switched bikes. Doug on the stocker, and the good racer on Doug's Z-450. Doug whipped his ass while riding a stocker - he beat his own bike. Lap times showed that, too.

At any rate, there are too many variables to put in there, and it gets tiring to see threads about "if I race this, how will I do?..." Just go race it, and report back. The threads will be moved or deleted from the Loft from here on out.

VERY GOOD POINT!!!!i for 1 know what a z will and will not hold up against and get very tired of this garbage too! i vote for outright deleting them!

I vote for keeping them as a good form of entertainment. It's like reading Star magazine or the National Enquirer at the supermarket. Its usually a bunch of b/s, but I find it entertaining. If it really upsets someone that just means they have stooped down to the other persons level. I will agree with throwing them all into the one forum though.

Then go read them. We don't need it here. I myself am also tired of threads like that. It doesn't make our site look at that intellegent. If you want to see what is faster, then spend a big weekend at the dunes and go watch the hundreds of people who drag race all day.

I deal w/ hundreds of kids and their childish comments at work. I hate to come home and read more of the same thing on one of my favorite websites.

So...my neighbor has this sweet @$$ quad. He got one of those powerwheels atv's from Wal-Mart. You think I can beat him? I'm not sure, the bike looks pretty sick and he's a good rider.

I think you all are just gettin' grouchy in your old age.....especially Rrat!!!! lol j/k guys. Enough is enough with them though, just go out and ride the damn things!!!! Ifyou get beat, then make it faster or buy a faster bike. Its inevitable that there will always be someone out there that is faster than you or has a faster bike. BTW, will my Dale outrun my buddies Raptor 700? Atleast it's not a Z vs something!!!! LMAO!!!
