Its nothing fancy but this is one I got off of ebay, just a slim single line led that is bright as hell, and than made a small plate to mount it too.

I did put mine on. I cut a bracket from a k40 radar detector install kit and made it work with the light, it's almost as if it was made for it, fits perfectly.

I never thought of making my own light bracket I like the creativity yall have and i appreciate all the input. definitely helps guys!

I bought mine at Napa, think it was $20, 36led's. Works great and is bright as sh!t.

Does anyone know of a switch or mod to make it so the light is only on when the brakes are engaged? In other words, no running lights just brake light?

yeah just cut the wire that gives power to the light when the head lights are on
