Default Well guys, she's gone...

I no longer own a Z400.. Not sure whether i'm happy or sad, but I walked away with $2,100, and I swapped over the Tusk gas cap and MSR clutch perch from my quad onto my YZ last night before the guy came to get it. Lost about $500 worth of money I've put into that quad, but it's got a new family now, and hopefully they'll take care of her like I did. For some strange reason, the quad wouldn't stay running while they were here (of course). I had it idling for like 20 minutes last night, and today it wouldn't stay running. I think it was from the engine running a bit too rich all the time i've had it, and the spark plug finally just had enough of it. But surprisingly they took it anyway...

Yeah, but at least I saved some of my quad parts so I didn't totally lose out lol... I've also got some spare parts for it as well to sell if anybody wants them. I've got a set of those cool black and yellow ProGrip 964 EVO grips, some brake pads, and Tusk headlights.

I've got a YZ125 i'm going to be riding around now. I split the money 50/50 with my dad because he's always purchased all my quads over the years and we called a truce on a 50/50 split since I paid for the majority of my Z and a good bit of my last quad. Then I gave him some more money for my phone bill and money he spotted my for rebuilding my YZ. So in the end, I ended up with $940. I'm taking $240 to use towards the YZ for parts and riding gear. And i'm putting the other $700 in the bank maybe to buy a fixer upper bike in the future to make some more money or something..

i still miss mine. i still have some parts left in the garage from the part out and every time i walk by them i think about my old Z. i might put them in the barn just so i don't have to look at them

I had a DVX, traded for a KFX700, and then Came back to a KFX400. Sometimes I really wish I had a KFX450, but the 400 is perfect for 99.9% of the riding I do.

I have some stuff on my quad. Some makes it go faster (I think) Some makes it louder, some makes it glow. All in all it's a pretty cool quad, and me and my kids like it, But I will trade it all in a flash, if the right thing comes along!
