wanted to give a little update, mentioned most of this in 1st post, just got it all in yesterday. Went with a Twin Air air filter so tossed her in and put in 6 UNI 1" filtered vents into the airbox lid. Got a new Motion Pro throttle cable in and adjusted. Jetted the carb while I was tinkering. Got a dynojet kit. Found a 140 main jet in the quad already, which I should have expected considering the PO stripped all the screws on carb bowl and throttle cover on carb. Luckily the dremel was charged and I got them all off and replaced. went with a DJ160 main, cleaned the others, needle on 3rd notch, and screw 3-1/4 turns. Started right up, onced I remembered to turn the gas on[face palm haha]. terrorized the neighborhood a little and it felt good, might be hitting the limiter early. gonna try and sort that out tonight, as well as pulling the plug and checking the color. Revs great in neutral with no popping or smoke and response is quick with no bogging. Felt good while running her to, except for the limiter; maybe it wasnt but it took me more time than i would expect to run down the car traveling down our 35mph road. Lasdy could have been speeding but I was in 5th before i caught her, I was on the shoulder and not on the road btw. Running stock exhaust for now but I wrapped it hoping to increase the velocity/flow a little to compensate for the extra air going into the engine. I am waiting to see what the misses got me for Valentines before I go and buy a pipe. Don't think she got me a pipe, I am thinking a GoPro but its possible; GF always gets me some sweet presents, just look at the rims on the audi!(ordered all by herself) anyways here is a quick pic i snapped.
