so a few days ago i go on ebay and do my daily "ltz400" search and skim through the parts and come across alba +2 +1 a arms brand new but with surface rust..no ball joints no tie rods for 44. and 20 shipping but youhave to bid...
i put them in my watch list and the bid was ending last night.. last night 5 min prior to ending i bid 46. "youve been outbid" no suprise there..i play the bid game by increments of $2 until i am the high bidder 1 minute before ending at $78 im thinking wow 100 bucks for brand new extended a arms today is my lucky day.. i hit f5 to refresh the page and boom i was outbid. i got into an intense bid war and lost at the last second by $.86 wtf ![]() needless to say i threw a few things said a few words and lost my temper.. well i go onto ebay tonight and what do i see "msg from seller" you have a second chance what? is this real lol.. long story short he had two sets so i got to buy the second set for $85 plus 20 shipping WOOOOOOOOOO so happy sorry for the long story i was excited haha

Haha, it was on my watch list too, I thought 85 was a little high w out ball joints and rust, had no bushings either.

Haha good you got them. Yes f-ing ball joints are expensive! I need to replace mine really, but think I'm going to go with a Heim joint style.

I bought all new balljoints for 80. I also used ltr450 tie rods with my +2s

Where'd you get the ball joints at? I think they wanted to charge me like 35 a piece. Also if anyone knows( sorry to thread jack), I was told by the kawi dealer only the 03s were different as far as the bore in the spindle and 04 and up was the same. I though this was different (03/04 were the same). I put 03 a arms and spindles on an 06. I guess morale of the story is ... Who's right?

i found "alba" ball joints all four for 85 shipped..im prob going with that. right now i dont have shocks but i may use ltr fronts..
and the damn bushings are so expensive anyone know where to get them? ebay has them for like $50 an a arm. so thats $200 in bushings? no way i paid like $40 for the whole set for my blaster a few years back
