Well I've been fooling around with this chrome. It's been pissing me off to tell you the truth. I've read and read and read on the web and even called the seller of this extreme chrome powder, trying to get it where it doesnt turn silver. Well I think I got it whupped. Check it out:

Before clear (you cannot leave it in this state unfortuanately)

After clear. Keep in mind the after was also after dark. So I have less light.

Well....I shot the chrome. Let it completely cool. I me no warmth to it at all. Then I shot the clear on. Made sure the part was nice and white all over. Mean while I had the oven rocking on 480 degrees. Then when I was done shooting the clear, I stuck it in the oven and turned it back to 400 degrees. The 480 was to help it flow it melt quicker. I kept an eye on it and as soon as it starting turning clear I set the timer for 10 minutes. Works like a champ. Now I gotta do the other side cover and the head and cylinder and a arms. This is what was holding me up mostly. I've ordered three different chromes. None of which turned out like I wanted and have durability. Ends up the first chrome I ordered was the best. I just had to figure it out.

I can't really smell anything. And no one has said anything yet. I live about 250-300ft from my nearest neighbor tho.
