Default Need help with bolts..

Ok so brief history, grab bar screws stripped out like 4 times, got tired of tapping them, so I said f-ck and put in some helicoils. I went to the next size up, which is an m9. If anyone knows metric, NO ONE makes or sells an m9 bolt. So FML, anyways, my next option is going to be slightly drill and tap the helicoils to the next biggest standard size. Or possible make some m10's into some m9's. But before I do, I figured I'd ask on here if anyone has any or knows where I can buy these f'ing bolts. I need at least 4 M9x1.25 by at least 40mm. I'd like to buy like 8 so if I have any future f- ups I have spares. I've tried all the sites mcmaster.com, fastenal, napa(who sells the friggin m9 helicoil kit, but no m9 bolts), etc... I am in a jam so any help is appreciated. Thanks guys.

Call these guys!
Home - SO CAL BOLT
if they don't have them, they can get them.

I can't really picture it right now, but is there any reason you can't through-bolt it?

Throw those heli coil pieces of junk in the trash. Go to grainger and get these:

Threaded Insert, M8x1.25mm, PK 5 - Self Locking Inserts - Thread Insert - 4ZE42 : Grainger Industrial Supply

They are way better. This is what I use.

Im not sure what the bolts look like or how they mount because I have an 03 but I'm guessing you can do what spize said and just drill it out and run a bolt all the way threw. Im guessing they have a nut welded to the frame? My head stay stripped so I drilled them all out and through bolted those.

Just lift the starting edge of the coil out with an awl or scribe, grab it with a needle nose or vise grips and pull the coil out, it will unwind as it comes out.

Drill it a bit size or two about m10, and put in some m10 bolts with nuts. Can't strip it anymore lol.
