Default Temp Gauges

Whats everyone using for a coolant temp gauge or what would you use if you gad one i just blew a head gasket on my 400 and didnt even know it was out of coolant (my overflow bottle was full) so i hot an inline glow gauge from work and now i am trying to decide what to use for a temp readout.....

a clear radiator hose would tell if there is fluid

do they even have them? if so i want them..... just get a autometer and mount it to the plastics or fab a bracket for the dash.... they also have inline gauges but there pricey.

inline or autometer, i am also debating installing just a warning light with no guage.

Well i got this flow gauge from work and had the fab guys turn the threads down to fit my rad hose..... so i think i got flow covered just wanna keep an eye on temp


My red light never ever came on and neither did my fan.......... i know i know take it off to cut back on weight

see your getting the gist of it. you know that will never leave this place, that saying will always stick around. im going to be getting a auto meter, iwant to get the electric reading but im worried about battery usage.

Also know of a few guys running these on their banshees and have had good luck with them!!

Don't have one on my Z but do have an inline gauge on both my LTs because of no cooling fans on them guess I need to put one on it soon.
