I use them.. nothing worst then getting roosted by your buddies with a bunch of gravel or like crz said in the bush too.. but honestly if u think youll look cooler then dont use them but for protection there great they do help in windy winter storms also not much but they do lol

I wear gloves and have never had a problem with not having hand guards. I dont really like the look of them.

I wear gloves also, don't care for the hand guards and since I only dune, they really aren't necessary.

i have bark busters on mine and let me tell you i would of broke my hand on some trees if it wasnt for them. and take a roost in the finger with rocks the size of golf balls. I never wore a chest protector before to untill that happen. If you like pain then go for it but i wouldnt even think about not having hand guards on my quad.

I used to have the ProTaper hand guards on my Z, and I really liked them. Even wearing gloves, I still liked the fact that the guards were there.

i think it comes down to where you ride and if your leading or following. Normally when i ride i lead. Also where i ride is desert so we dont really have to worry about it. Ive never ridden with hand guards or needed them.
