What Petcok

Threw the fcr on tonight started right up but then died so I put it on my friends predator and it ran fine his petcok is on off and when on it throws gas but mine doesn't throw gas wen on position so I figured it's vacum or suction activated for the stock carb I'm buying one tomorow but wat bike do I get it off of yfz or trx? And I repacked my sparks pipe it throws some funny smelling smoke when the bike turns off is it the new repack breaking in,the oils of my hands when I was touching the new core burning off? Don't know if it gets real hot is it going to catch on fire? Anyone experience this when repacking?

your petcock should work in the prime poshion , many have changed to the raptor's petcock to get back the benefits of the reserve gas , seams to me there's a sticky on what can be done to the stocker petcock

yeah i put my fcr on and put on prime and it works fine with the stock petcock

that's how mine is running........I got the 4 gallon tank though so I don't need reserve

Thanks I didn't even think of prime but it worked bike runs good but a little rich got some stumble and couldn't really go full throttle lots of poping but I'll have it ready for labor day weekend at oceano dunes fine tuning is all and it's good to go thanks guys!

Thought about Pismo this weekend........just too crowded there.
Hoping for Glamis on 10/10. Might be too hot though.

We've never gone to pismo on labor day weekend but we've been ther 4 July and it was packed but I like it that way get to see diferent bikes girls and BBQ. Were only going Sunday for the day money a little tight I'll be out ther with 2 buddies if u do go u know wat my bike looks like I'll be the the one getting my but kicked at the drags lol.

I'm avoiding oceano this weekend. just too many lames out there. might head out on tuesday after noon though after i get off work.
