decent aftermarket exhaust
Hi Guys,
I really hate to post this but i have to. The closest place to ride "legally" around here has a (no loud exhaust) policy. . . Sooo i was wondering if anyone knows any decent exhausts that aren't loud, must have a spark arrestor and won't cost me an arm n leg. Thanx for the feedback |

DG makes a slip on that isnt horribly loud has a spark arrestor and you can pick it up for $150 on ebay. I have one on my honda 400ex

I don't recommend a slip on since there is no real benefit to having it.

I had a LExx slip on with powerbomb header. Came with a spark arrest or also which made it quieter. Wasn't that expensive ( compared to a lot of aftermarket systems). But you could also find some used ones on here in the for sale section. I too would not recommend just a slip on unless you only want some noise

I had a CRD slip on that was Really good. Not loud at all and had really good low end power. I got it of E-Bay for $200 shipped.

Is there a decible limit? How are they deciding whats loud and whats not?
FMF has a quiet series you should check out. I have the FMF powerbomb header and Q2 pipe. It sounds loud when I start it up at home in my subdivision, but it's fairly quiet in comparison to most of the exhausts I've heard. |
