There may be slight performance benefits, but to tell, you'd really need to see dyno results of all three. I know trc is what they used on the factory z's for a while, not sure if it was for performance or weight reduction or both.

So, with all these Yoshi full exhaust owners in this thread I have to ask.

My quad came with a Yoshi RS-3 slip on, and I'm trying to figure out if it has the full exhaust or not? Do the Yoshi header pipes have the 2 indents for clearance where it passes by the head, right behind the heat shield? Mine has that, and I'm leaning towards it is the stock head pipe. Any help would be appreciated. I don't want to spend the money on a full exhaust if I already have one.

Another question, the HMF 3 core system, is that not a good investment if your bike is jetted? In other words, would you need to change the jets constantly if you were changing the cores?

Here's a pic of the yoshi header. Hope it helps.

I just went out and looked at my wife's stock exhaust and my rs-2 full exhaust. My exhaust has a weld about 2-3 inches from the head and the stock exhaust does not have this weld.

OK thanks, that pretty much confirms its just a slip-on. I have no welds the whole length of the exhaust.

Now that I look for it in the picture biggie posted I see the weld just after the head.

I made the mistake of just having the slip on then I saw the light and ordered from Yosh the head pipe and now all is good.

Ok think I'll go with the RS-2. SO now all I'll need is a carbon fiber heat shield to go with it. Anyone??

I think I'm also gonna look for a Yoshi RS-2... I was torn between the HMF comp. series, but I think I'm going w/ the Yosh.. plus the Yosh tech said I do not need to alter the fuel mapping w/ the full system as long as I keep the airbox lid on.....
