You can run 93 OCT with your piston. No need for octane booster.
His piston is around 12.2:1 with the three layer, 13:1 with single layer. The carb is whats killing him No, i'm not going to let that go

well that sucks...
I would have been better off with a single layer gasket than buying the gasket and a 12:1 piston. so a 12:1 piston w single layer gasket would actually produce less compression than stock piston with single layer? ANYONE HAVE THE FORMULA TO CALCULATE C/R USING MAX CYLINDER PSI?

What ever your aftermarket piston advertised compression is, its based off a single ply base gasket.
