Not another "should so and so be faster than me" thread. Honestly I hate when people start these types of threads. There is so much that plays into these things. Just a few...weight, traction, whos the better rider, rpms your shifting at, blah blah blah. Fact is you have a stroked/bb with STOCK CAMS. He has a 450r. yes it does not suprise me that he is faster than you.If you want to be competative with him, get some Webs or some sort of much bigger cams.

This is the part I wanted to know
I tried his bike and it feels like it has much more performance than mine.
Since I did this built myself, I was not sure if I did everything the good way.

He has a 450 that was built more as a racing quad. What do you expect? Your not going to be that close to him, especially if he rides well. Now after you get better cams and you yourself are a decent rider, then you should have better results, but not necessary going to beat him still.

Cool

You should be beating that Honda or at least dead even with him with your build. However your stock cams unable you to really pull from mid to top end. The trx 450's are not known for there top end, they are famous for grabbing hole shots because of there huge bottom end power. I am pretty sure your cams are your weakness and if that trx has the HRC kit or HRC cam on it, it's gona be a little tuff to beat without bigger cams. I have problems beating YFZ's, those things have a lot of top end. I either tie with them or they get me by 1/2 a bike length(them being piped ,jetted, and intake of course). But some bigger cams as stated by Hughes

Well, if you really have your mind set on beating this 450.. Maybe, you should get a 450.

You just need cams, WAY bigger cams, and a larger carb wouldn't hurt either once you have appropriate sized cams in it. I haven't been beat by any 450 that was still 450cc's yet with my 470. In a drag race anyways.

You could get a better intake too and eliminate the air box if you just ride sand.

Out of curiosity, where are you from? Doesn't seem like English is your first language so just wondering.
