Default Bent Frame.

So i bought my z from a local friend knowing the frame was bent, unsure of how it could be fixed but jumped on the cheap price anyways. Im not sure if it can be bent back or if i just need to find a frame on here and swap everything.
I cant tell there is a bend unless i am going in 4th/5th on pavement. or if i stand in front of it and look at the tires. Riding in the dirt i cant even tell.. and i dont have a lot of money to be dishin out on new parts, but i do wan my z to be in good shape.

Just want suggestions on if i shoudl try and get it bent back or just swap everything to a good frame.

Well start with putting up some good detailed pics, not crappy phone pics. What kind of bend are we talking about? Broken welds, or kinked metal, and your talking problems. Some times a couple heavy chains, a tree, a come-along and hydraulic jacks will fix a tweak. Get some pics up and you might find the answer your looking for.

take a lot of skill to get it fixed properly...if they didnt make frames anymore then it would be worth it..... save your money and get a used main frame for a few hundred and save yourself a lot of touble and have a safe quad that will last you a while...... but hey, im with beaver...you want to fix it then go for it

I still would be nervous, I would def make sure you reinforce that area, I'm just not sure you would ever get it back to where it needs to be. Those things are put together on a jig by a robot, and there is geometry that needs to be there. you would at best just be buying yourself time to a new frame. Being bent your talking about funny wear on alot of items.

No i trust your opinions. I do have a frame that i think i could get for good price so ill just do that. But i have never torn a quad down to nothin. I had the sub frame off mine a couple weeks ago but thats the farthest ive gone so id be nervous to get it all apart and back together correctly. Is it super hard? Also it is off a 06 Special edition, the one im looking at would everything hook up?

I would keep it simple. Strip the plastic, block up both frames and start with wheels and arms and just go from there. Take it off put it on.. Most of it should be pretty easy to figure out
