Arrow Swing Arm Question

Hey guys, Don't know if this has been covered somewhere but.... I don't have the money to buy extended swing arm but I was wondering if I adjust my axle carrier in my swing arm all the way back would it give me at least an inch to extend? I haven't tried it yet because I don't know if this will put stress on the swinger and cause it to crack or break on a jump Just want to know if it will even give me an inch and is it worth trying

Don't think it would be a problem at all as far as stress on the swinger. It might give you an inch, you'd just have to measure where its at now and compare to all the way back.

Going to be tricky to get a chain that has exactly the right amount of slack when the carrier is all the way back. And if it stretches at all, you're done. No more adjustment in the carrier to tighten it up.

Maybe look into having a welding shop cut it and weld in a piece to extend it. Seen it done before and has to be cheaper than a new swing arm.

I think extending the stocker might be your best bet. Take a look at kfxguy's swingarm, his is extended and it even looks like it came like that from the factory.
