Arm bushings
Just picked up a set of alba +2 up1 a arms and they need bushings. Anyone know of a cheap place to get them? I've scoured eBay and found nothing cheap and google provided a few results but I still can't find cheaper than $150
Also. Will stock bushings work in these arms? Not sure if aftermarket arms have diff size bushings.

They hvent come in the mail yet. I mean I could measure them when they come in comparison to stick I just wanted an idea so I could order them. But the price issue is crazy. Didn't think I'd be spending $200 on bushings

Ya they aren't cheap. There's usually 2 different kinds of a arms, oem style that have a round "tube" at the end that bearings are pressed into just like the stock a arms. The other kind uses a totally different kind of joint that screws into the end of the a arm and doesn't use a bearing, more of a bushing. Like these:
You'll need to know what size threads, etc. By the time you buy ball joints, bushings or bearings, tie rods, and maybe brake lines, might've been better off just to buy a new set of American star or full flights on eBay.

Ugh I know lol. At least this way I can pace myself. I don't need them in right away do I can gather some cash and buy stuff as I find deals

helm enterprises. I'm doing the exact thing all I'm lacking is the bushings and brake lines which I may get this weekend. I just got them pc'd and the ball joints and tie rods.

Hmm ok. I read you don't absolutely need brake lines so I think I'm gonna hold off. I hope the tie Rods are sufficient stock as well. But I def need ball joints and bushings

look up phdatsun on ebay he has them for 80 bucks for all 4. I'm going with helm.enterprise bushings

Also if you need longer tie rods, I know 450R's are longer. You might be able to find a cheap set w/out ends on eBay and reuse yours.
