Default Do you have Alba A-arms? HELP me

I have searched. Its been asked but never answered

What hardware is REQUIRED to install a set of alba +2 Arms. If i bought a set of arms (JUST upper and lower A-arms with no hardware) what else do i need

I know stock brake lines will work

Do you need extended tie rods?

Will all the rest of the OEM hardware transfer over to the arms? Like bearings/bushings/etc

Thank you for all the help!

i just bought a set but they havent come in the mail yet from what i have read

you will need all new ball joints (alba ball joints are $88 shipped on ebay)

havent verifired that you need longer tie rods but a cheap alternative to be safe is ltr tie rods

i read you need brake lines but they can stretch..seems kinda sketchy i may get ktm brake lines plus they are stainless

you will need bushings im buying mine from here: atvbushings.com
they are $100 for the set, the cheapest ive seen the whole bundle

also (not sure what year your bike is) but if you have stock 03/04 "pogo stick" shocks it would be a good idea to upgrade to LTR fronts as well. they are the perfect length for +2 and handle alot better..
hope that helps. ill post some pics once mine come

Thank you for the info. Half the battle is tracking down all the stuff your looking for online. Guess i thought more of the stock hardware could be used in the Albas

They will work fine. But I heard ltr shocks are a little better and with the added width they fit perfect

$250. Idk if its a good price but id like to get back what I have in them. its all 4 arms, fresh powder coat (ill have them back Wednesday) balljoints (bnib) only opened one to make sure they fit and extended tie rods. You can get bra stockke lines for 35 on ebay from a ktm525xc

be carefull with those arms and make sure the upper arms fit correctly....had a friend who bought a set and they were junk....dont forget to buy new lower arm bushings for that set also, they dont come with any and check "ALL" the threads with a thread tap!

i bet you were looking at the ebay auction for the alba arms only also....seems like a good deal at first until you have to buy all new bushings, tie rods, ball joints and hardware and then powdercoat them.....winds up being almost as much as a full set of new ones so no real deal there unless you have alba arms already and can just swap out the hardware...but even then....

as long as you can get your lower bushings out intact its fine, but if they have some miles on them your much better off just getting some new aftermarket ones like pivot works.....

im re-using my stock bushings for my albas, i paid $100 for the a arms. i had to buy ball joints ($88) and im powder coating them for whatever it costs for another pound of chrysler orange..so for about $200 for +2 +1 arms, i think thats a good deal
