Hi... I Have a big problem in my z400

there was a strange sound in my z400 so i took it to the company ... and they told that the crankshaft bearing is loss so i have to change the hole case !!!

my question >>> can i replace the old bearing with a new one ?? or i have to buy new case ?!!

because the told me you can't replace a new bearing you have to buy new case !!

Thanks...[/b]
you can change crank bearings without buying a new case

start a new topic. i dont like replying in pinned topics. but depending on how bad the scratch is then you should be ok. post some pics. if the bearing spun then you will need new cases

Hey guys, probably been asked before, but could find any specific thread about this setup so here goes.

Anybody got some tips on jetting for this setup?
-HMF performance full system exhaust
-HMF Jet kit, k&n filter and outerwear

I know that hmf givess you recomended jetting, but just want to know what everybody else thinks about it?

Elevation is 1600 - 2600ft and want to run with air lid off.

Thanks in advance.

if you don't have an adjustable needle, the hmf jetting is pretty close. However, if you want it to run as strong as possible, get an adjustable needle and your main jet will be much smaller.

Yes, it runs and will be faster with the recommended jetting. But you just spent $350+ on an exhaust, spend another $15 and get it running top

Hey guys, I have a 2006 LTZ, with k&n, full yoshi.. I just jetted it, with FMF kit, i put in a 160 main, and the needle is on 3.5, its not running good, its bogging, my airbox just has 15 1/2" holes in it to let some extra air in, took the plug out and its black, whats wrong? What should i do? Was hoping to get out for the long weekend, but not looking like i will
