WOW...hello to all. My first post and can't believe what I just read. I just bought an 05' Z400 about a month ago from a friend's friend and now am worried as hell about this. I was actually looking online for information on changing the oil (type and capacity) when the first thread I read is this. Not exactly the kind of info. I first wanted to find on this forum. I've put on about 100 miles on the bike myself and found the fan running quite often. I guess this might be why. Read the first 8 pages then skipped to the last. So before I go on I take it there IS a recall? Any info. or advice is appreciated. Guess tommorrow I'll be taking apart the bike to check.

I saw the recall as soon as it was posted, took my 06 ltz 400 back to the shop where I had bought it and 2 days later the cover was replaced and the warranty extended.
