Default Help with high altitude jetting please

I ride in the 6-8k ft range primarily. I'd like to install a unifilter, and remove the airbox lid. I'd like to know if the stock 130 main jet is going to be rich enough to do the things I have listed at the altitude I ride at. If not, recommend a replacement jet size please?

Also, with the replacing the filter with a Uni, and no lid, what jet size would be recommended for sea level?

Jetting Database

I found a lot of information here, it will probably help you get a start at least.

Your post is kind of confusing, you ride at 6000-8000 feet, but your looking for sea level jetting?

If your running at sea level, you would need a smaller jet, higher elevation would need a higher # jet.

Kind of need more information like which jetting for which elevation and the year and what your set up now is.

I ride at high altitude and sea level. My primary concern is altitude...seal level is more forgiving as far as having a bit too much fuel. Too much fuel in thin air is a much bigger problem.

That is completely backwards. You run larger jets at sea level, and smaller at high altitude.

Yeah, thats what I was asking...the jetting to run at altitude and sea level with just a unifilter and airbox lid removed.
