Default Cleaning wires/hoses/tubes..

Does anyone use or recommend a good product for cleaning hoses/wires/tubes? Something that doesn't require a hard scrubbing or something, in other words something that I can use to keep them clean while they are on the quad?

Buy WD-40 in the gallon $20 at Auto Zone and fill a spray bottle. Works great on all the hoses and wires. We spray the whole bike with it and let is soak in. Makes plastics look good too.

WD-40 also works good for a pre cleaning chemical. Put it on the frame, plastics, tires, hoses, and wires. when you go to wash it after a nasty ride it all just falls off. It works great! just don't put it on your seat.......for obvious reasons.

WD-40 contains silicone which is why it makes all that stuff look good. I am looking for something that will really attack nasty dirt and grime and clean it. Basically I bought a used wiring harness on ebay and I want to clean all the nooks and crannies before I mount it. I would like a spray on and wash off deal if possible.

Purple Power, its not a spray on wash off but just spray down a paper towel or rag with it and wipe down the wiring harness. It works really good but the stuff is pretty strong if you are using it for long period so take precaution and wear gloves lol. But overall it works pretty good.

+1 Purple Power. I usually hose all the mud off then spray it down with purple power, let it sit for a little then power wash it.

this stuff........I guarantee it'll impress you.
Sprayway, Inc. - Products
Hose down and wipe off excess dirt/mud and spray this stuff on. It'll make the engine and engine and everything around it in your car/truck look new as well.

I use purple power pretty frequently. It def works, but requires a lot of work. A harness has a sh!t ton of nooks, so I was looking for something a little more on the self-working side.

I'll give it a try Spize.

And this is for something I am trying to keep clean, this is for some items that are pretty dirty and nasty currently. Would like to make them look as close to new as possible.

you can spray this stuff on something like the stock heel guards that still have dirt stains and they'll look as black as the day you bought them.
Look at my QOTM pics. Those here that have seen my quad in person know it ain't really that clean.

I use sprayways glass cleaner at work, good stuff. I'd like to try the stuff you're talking about spize. They seem like a great company.

Cool

I use fast orange spray degreaser. Spray it all over the place, wires, axle, a arms, chain, engine etc....(not plastics) Then let it sit for about 5-10 minutes so it can start eating dirt and stains away,Then I wash it all down with water hose and you will see how good it CLEANS everything. Then I wash it with armor all wash and wax car wash,Then I spray maguires spray wax on the plastics and seat for real true gloss shine. My bike looks brand new after I do this wash. The key is first to clean the bike, then make it shine. I think any good degreaser will work fine to clean the sh!! Out of it
