Default What valve spring compressor do you use?

I trying to put my new valves in and I don't have the right tool. I used two screwdrivers to get them out, don't think thats going to work putting them in. Any tips would be appreciated.

I used a C-clamp style spring compressor that I have at my shop. I think that Sears carries something similar that would work. If you cant find something let me know and I could meet you somewhere to put them in real quick since your not that far away.

I like that one, I have one for cars that I have used in the past for ATV's but the valve sits lower in the head and I can't get it in the Z.

Just did my valves. A 3/4 deep socket with the sides cut out and then taped to my large c clamp worked great. Total cost, $4.

This worked for me. The hardest part was finding a magnet but it just happened one from the fridge was perfect for the job.

No, and I went to a shop up the road to barrow one and and he said I need new seats because the OE seats are Ti and my new Wiseco valves are stainless, is this true?

Whatever you do, if you're not going to use the proper tools, be really careful not to scratch the bore that the bucket rides in.

I made a compressor for like $12 out of a bar clamp and a socket. Welded the socket to the bar clamp, and cut the side of the socket open.
