Hello everyone. I own an 09 Z400 with a full CT exhaust, open air lid and a 2Bros JuiceBox pro. I bought the fuel contoller thinking that an open exhaust and airlid should nessisitate the need for more fuel. So I bought the juicebox because you can store multiple maps switching them on the fly and because Dynojet 5 maps are compatable with it as well. It's a great product and easy to use. Here's my concerns. They don't offer any tunes for a full exhaust and open lid, just either full exhausts with the lid on or an open lid with a slip on pipe.
Now if anyone has ever used the software you will see that most of the maps offered actually subtract fuel at just about everypart of the powerband?? The only map offered that adds fuel is a ProCircuit slipon with an open lid. I've tried all the maps and to tell the truth, there really isnt much of a noticable difference. Even with no map it runs super strong with no flat spots anywhere?? So today, I went to change my plug. I discovered that my plug was pretty black?? So now I'm wondering, is the unit adding to much fuel now?? I'm running a slip-on/open air lid map right now but you would think with a full exhaust that it would need more fuel?? I guess not. So has anyone else ever noticed that all the maps actually subtract fuel and does anyone have any comments about the maps they run or any expereience they have with the tuning software?? Overall, the quad runs super strong and I am very impressed with the performance. I just wish I could get the plug to burn brown.

Finding someone on here with that is going to be pretty hard. I cant think of anyone off the top of my head that even has an 09+ let alone the 2 Bros box. You might get lucky though. You may want to try over at LTR450hq since the LTRs are all FI.
On a side note. I would suggest trying out different maps with a new plug. Find a long hill or something and run it wide open under a load. In the top of 4th grab the clutch and kill the ignition. Pull the plug out and check the color. Do this for each map. Another way you could find your optimal mixture is go to a dyno. Just b/c the company recommends to use (this map with these mods) type thing, doesnt mean that is going to work for you. There are other factors that play into jetting/mapping. Good luck

I'm familiar with doing plug chops. Problem is the 09+ models, you can't just pull over and check the plug. To access the plug, you have to literally lift the tank off to even get a socket doen the hole. Alot more stuff under the plastic to remove with the fuel injection. So I can't do plug chops.
