Default spark plug loose

Okay guys so I went to the garage before work to start my z and it wouldn't start. While it was cranking a flame shot out. So I checked the plug and it was loose. I tightened it down about two full turns and it fired up. Ran fine but it smoke blackis grey, I assume from the raw fuel it pumped through. My questions are why the hell did my plug come loose and secondly did anything get damaged from this? The smoke went away to a little put of light gray smoke when I revved at the end. Sorry if this is scatterbrain because im on my way to work now. Thanks guys

I doubt it damaged anything, maybe the plug wasnt torqued properly.

you know my plug came loose one time. i heard sputtering coming from the plug so i stuck a socket in there. sure enough it was loose, i tightened it up good and never happened again

well mine always smoked but i did feel a difference when it was tightened back up. i think i was loosing alot of power. after all said and done i was pulling wheelies again.

You loaded the cylinder up with fuel, that'll make it smoke for a bit until it clears out. Check your oil, and make sure it doesn't smell of fuel, if it does, change it right away. I'd even change it just to be safe.

Its not uncommon for a plug to come loose, heck mine flew out once.
