Well thought I would start a thread on my baby. Have been through alot with it. Have made a whole lot of sport bikes go home with this hoss. Only thing that has beat me on it so far is a crf450. We swapped wins. Those things haul the mail.
I wont even start a mods list. I don't want to dig as deep as it goes. Tons of parts on I have made myself. Done every bit of the work on it myself. I will show some pics first of what it looked like when I brought it home. Man it was pitiful. ![]() ![]() Then here are the most recent pics I have of it. Some stuff has already changed so more to come. Wanting to go back with a Full body on it soon. These are crappy pics with my cell phone. Will get some new ones with the new camera soon. ![]() ![]()

Will do. Changing the rear tires on the 700. Going back to a full body most likely not sure yet. Have a 730 Big Bore Kit with stage 3 cams for the 700. Will take it to over 100 horsepower. Gonna redo my exhaust wrap on the Muzzy head pipes. Prolly changing the bars on it also.
400 Wise it is quite a list. Things needing replaced are Carrier, Airbox, timing chain tensioner,Timing Chain later, etc. Fun stuff I have on the way I will be installing. Ims Heel Guards Front Bumper Chain and sprockets Graphics seat cover Bars and dash Trail Tech lights This all reminds me I need to update my wanted thread. |

The 700 is very under rated. Those 450's have something else coming thinking there gonna leave me sitting.
Well back in the day I rolled it over breaking one of the rears almost all the way off. So I franken stitched it back and cut them off. The look kind of kicked off my modding spree. It never ends thats for sure. Part of the fun and lifestyle of it. Yes been a monster freak for quite a few years now. Kawie Freak even longer. No one around my area knew about monster. I got it started, Now its everywhere. Its kind of aggravating seeing it on someones vehicle that dont even have an atv. Posers. LOL I have mountains of Monster crap

How do you like the Muzzy exhaust? Which one is it?
I helped my neighbor install one on his Sunday. Up until now he couldn't touch me on my Z (uphill on the big hills at Glamis and Dumont). He did the exhaust, jetting and some "12 hole" mod to his airbox lid. Already had the K&N. I think he may get me now........we'll find out this weekend at Glamis.

Those mods wake the V up quite a bit. When I just had a pipe I was beating the 450's easily. Ran quite a few banshee's also. Raced one banshee and he wanted to take it to the highway and see how he could do. Same result. Left in the dust. I even ran a cannondale 440 that was a 490 stroker. It ran closest to me out of any other atv. Still beat him by about 2 bikes. I have quite a few vids of me doing drags. So far mine has Twinair Powerflow Kit 02 650 Venturi Stacks Crossover Intakes 42 Pilots Stage 3 Clutch EPI Pink Clutch Spring Standard Muzzy The same setup was dyno'd at 50 rear wheel horse. Once I have the 730 kit installed should be around 70 and hold it for longer. Last edited by KFXHELLRAISER; 03-15-2011 at 11:17 PM. |

I was beating him by 50' (handicapped at the start) racing up comp hill at Dumont. Forgot to mention he also had some clutch work done by some clutch guru on Kawieriders.com. After that he was getting alot closer during our last trip to Glamis. I think the pipe and jetting will push him right past me. We'll see this weekend I guess

That clutch Guru is VforceJohn. That is who done my Stage 3 clutch also.. I was hitting the revlimiter at 70mph with 20" tires. Last time I was into the 80's and still no limiter. No idea on the top speed now.

I watched a guy take a 700 on the mx track this past summer. He made a go of it for a few laps, I would of quit after the first lap lol. No trouble clearing any jump there it was the landings that looked painful lol. Nice 700, I always loved the sound of them. I always wished they hadn't made it an automatic with shaft drive.

Yes they are a little heavy but not to bad. I have bottomed mine out quite a few times. I tabletop my V all the time.
Auto and shaft drive is two of the best things about one. No chain to mess with and break getting you stranded in the middle of nowhere. Auto to make up for the weight and to focus on handling the beast. Two things that put it in a class of its own. |

That is the clutch snorkel duct work. It come stock Black. I thought white would give it more of a sporty look. Only one I have ever seen painted. The clutch in these actually sounds like a supercharger also. Fundy in canada is making superchargers for them now. I have a friend who done his own supercharger on his V and it is nuts. I have seen it run with Banshee's with 1000cc bike motors. Mine will likely never run that good. You can hear the whine of mine in this clip. kfx700 Muzzy sound clip Video by Jordan - Myspace Video I see your in Richmond. Funny thing is this. I got a blew up kx250 from my Bro in law. I drove to richmond and traded it to a guy with an 01 Kawasaki Mojave 250 in box's. I built it and traded it for a nice 300ex. I just traded the 300ex the other day for a kfx400. Anyhow when I saw you were from Richmond it reminded me of all that. |
