i chopped them short so they just pop out and end right at the radiator not 100% done yet buy i welded tabs on the frame for mounting points

thanks i just wanted to do something different i was considering getting real creative and glassing them into the tank pannels but it would have taken too long.. so i may grab another set and a spare set of tank pannels to try it on sometime

i havent noticed it lowering engine tamps im sure i does cause it is a scoop and the stock has no scoop. its mostly for looks cause they look sick.

Whether or not ya have scoops on doesn`t really make much difference in the engine temps...that`s regulated by the thermostat. Scoops are functional as far as directing more airflow into & through the radiator & they do their intended job as far as that goes (some do it better than others...the RTC scoops are supposed to be the best at doing it though).

There`s only 1 way to find out deviuosdvx!!!

GO FOR IT MAN!!! (I haven`t seen a DVX w/ `em on it yet...well other than LittleMissE`s since "technically" her`s started out as a DVX...but as far as seein` `em on a DVX that still has the DVX plastics on it goes...I haven`t seen 1 yet).

Anyone done this while leaving the black Rad guard on? I'd like to see pic's of that! I would be too concerned that a rock or branch would go through it with no protection.
