Default newbie mod questions

so i just picked up an all original 03 400z in great shape. i've decided to do a couple mods to it including curtis sparks full exhaust, outerwears airbox lid, pro flow air intake system, dynojet stage two jet kit, 13T front sprocket, 18" holeshot rear tires, & stainless oil filter. i was wondering what size jets i should use with this setup. also, are the 18" tires and 13T sprocket going to be too much low end together? are there any other cheap mods that are worth while? i mostly do trail riding in northeastern wisconsin. thanks for any help.

Welcome FNG!

For cheap mods you may think of getting a 400 ex intake boot. 20 bucks or so.
As for your list that looks like a great starting point for adding some umph to your Z.
The Dynojet kit will come with recommendations that are fairly spot on.
I would probably start with a 155 or 160 depending on elevation and the needle on the 3rd clip (I don't know why they even have other settings.....seems that's where they all end up) and you'll probably be about 2.75 or so turns out on your fuel screw.
Here's a link to alot of different jetting to mod combos....

Regarding the tire/sprocket.......I don't really know. I've never ran 18's but this may tell you something.

Looks like you lose about 11 mph over stock with that combo. You'll be giving up ground clearance that you may need as well.
57 mph top speed would be plenty for me.......I rarely even touch 5th gear. Most here probably feel different though.

a drz base gasket will up the compression if your mechanically inclined enough to pull the entire topend off to do it, the base gasket is only $9
