Default How to get key switch out of stock dashboard

so how can I get the key switch out of the stock dash? I looked it up and only found 1 other thread on it, but the pictures showing how to do it were gone.. So how do I go about doing this?

I am not at the shop, but if I remember right there is a big nut on the back side and you should just turn the nut.

The bottom of the switch is threaded, it's got a plastic nut on it. Pretty easy to get off once you see how it's on.

Actually I take that back, the rubber around the key covers it up. Sorry, it is on top though.
