I don't know that the switch you linked would last long where we ride.......I'd get a sand-sealed 2 postion toggle.
I was thinking of getting this from RMATV. I have a pull choke already on my old Mikuni but for the kid I may just leave it all there. It's easier for him at this point.
With this switch I could use the horn for the start, have the lights hi/low and even add turn signals for them crazy dune sessions........

Sand is something I don't have to deal with. Mud however is. I'll see how this one holds up and if it fails, there's slightly more expensive ones that have rubber "booties" over the toggle switch to keep it sealed from the elements.

Found one with cable attached on ebay. Rerouted the cable and bolted it to my z400 throttle. The KFX450 cable has a small bracket attached to it that you will need to remove and attach to your Z400 reverse cable. The bracket could be made but I'm glad mine came with the purchase.

Great mod!! Like it better that the DrD on my other Z.

Also modded my parking brake / clutch lever.
The parking brake lever was damaged and attach point cracked so I cut off what I could and put a belt sander to it..

Thanks for this info, I just paid for a KFX450 throttle assembly. I'm looking forward to doing this.

Thanks spize909!
