stock throttle and cable fcr 39mm

Hi guys i just recently installed a yfz carb on my z .. j didnt plan ahead and buy the throttle or cable ..but i really really wanted to tune and drive it so wat i did was .. i cut the black housing to the cable so it came out about an inch more .. then i took the long nut on the end of the cable that goes onto the carb and bevelled it so it sits in a bit .. i hook the end of the cable in the carb with no mods .. now i have a good throttle thats not to hard to push and it wont frey or break prematurlly so if anybodies ever in a pickle like i was you can try this method i will post sme pics eventually if any body wants to know
