Phoine app

So is there a phone app for this page for android yet. I have looked around with no sucess, and i'm not really sure what im looking for. Just curious, if not it would be a good idea

Nope. I brought this up a year or so ago about making one. Got shut down real quick.

I've asked a few times, there's forum runner and tapatalk, both good apps, but after contacting the system admin it doesn't look like they have any interest in installing a simple plugin that would allow us to use either app.

Last time this was brought up the owners said they were working on an app..idk what progress has been made.

I always access the forum from my Iphone using the usual Safari browser... works ok for me

I use the forum a lot on my Incredible 2, I don't think it's all that bad using the full site.

It's still open for posting, and no moderator or admin even commented. I'd hardly call that "got shut down real quick".

As for a mobile app, it's being worked on. We have mobile apps for our Autoguide.com and Motorcycle.com Networks. An ATV.com Network app should be coming soon. I'm sorry I don't have details on when it will be introduced though.

I would much rather use full site on my phone. I use full site on everything on my phone. I turn the mobile view off in my phone setting. Phones these days are pretty fast and have decent size screens.

I will admit I haven't used any forum apps. I just don't see the need for them with the cell phones of today.

God, see what happens when I don't use my search button.......

I Like how i can flip my screen to facebook and see whats fresh with out having to open the full site and wait to load, i live in the coontry and signal is hit and miss. And I am fond of driving and browsing the web just gets difficult

Seemed the general concensous what that it would be a PITA to do. I could be confusing it with something else. I thought I also talked to a mod through pm or another thread, but I may be wrong. We have new site owners now also, correct? If not, then I ask why you or the mods never commented on that thread and you have waited until now when someone else brings it up?

I log onto this site all the time on my iPhone.. I never really have an issue with it. The only thing that I refuse to do is type a response to a thread on the phone because I find it to be a PITA, especially if it's a long response.

In the meantime, a simple free plugin install would give everyone access to forum runner and or tapatalk.
