09' Plastics On Older Z?

Im sure this has been discussed on here a dozen times. Has anyone put plastics from a 09' Z on an older model??? If so I would like to see some pics. How different are they mounting wise???

Yes it was posted. If you put your mind to it you can make any mount you want with a little creativity. I haven't seen a pic yet though.

I was about to say you were the guy that picked up the 09 plastics for free from that guy. I want to see how that swap will work out and what needs to be made to make them fit.

waiting on a seat and a gas tank cover from an 09. Without those 2 its damn near impossible.

Ok ladies and gents. Here is somewhat of an update. I really think that with the front fender, gas tank cover, rear fender and seat that it will bolt straight up if not pretrty close to the 03-08 but I can already tell that the 2 fender supports and the seat latch rod will have to be removed from subframe but all in all the rear fender fits almost perfect. Of course the seat mounting is totally different so when I find a seat I will let you know.

If I had the seat i could run the rears definitely. Im telling you that I placed it down on the subframe and it pretty much just fell in place but it needed to come back about 1 inch but the seat brackets were holding it back.

I hate to bring a dead thread up but i'm quite interested in doing this mod and does anyone remember what the pictures looked like or if he used the LTR seat or modified his subframe for a different seat?
