Ahh makes sense. You should put an old Buick up on cinder blocks and sit the oven on the hood. My parents also live in a restricted subdivision with people who b!tch for anything so I know just what you mean. They did some additions that are greatly improving the function and value of the home(for the good) all of which approved by the HOA, so people complain about the construction equipment, there's too many motorcycles parked in the garage, when we have the enclosed trailer there to load up motorcycles they complain. My personal favorite; they've built an area to park their motorhome when loading/unloading to prepare for trips, again approved by the HOA. When they do this it stays there for 1-2 days at most. So the neighbors complain that their motorhome is an eyesore. I swear some of these people just complain for the heck of it.

I think I'll be happy with the hf oven. I'll even do small parts for you guys
That have a hard time finding a decently priced powder coater.

Just ordered the oven. And I'm leaving harbor freight with the powder coat kit and a water separator and automatic drain valve for my compressor. I can't wait till my oven comes in!

Aircraft stripper and/or sand blasting. I think I may go pick up the bench top blaster from harbor freight.

You'll love having your own gun and oven. You wouldn't believe how many parts you'll find to do now. The only gripe I have with the HF gun is the cups. You'd think that the powder they sell in the same looking cups would fit the gun, Nope. So you got to clean out the cup each time. Not that big of a deal but I switched from white to green to black back and forth a few times and just wished I had a cup for each. Still keep an eye out for a household oven for bigger pieces, I've done 17" truck rims in mine.

BTW I paid $125 to have my whole frame and steering stem done in white (only things that didn't fit in my oven)

You have some tips you can lend me? I'm in the dark right now until I get started. But if you have some things you learned the hard way that can save me some trouble......I'd appreciate it.

Sorry a little late getting on tonight, spent some time polishing. You'll find some info on your new thread PowderCoating.
