homemade dash

when i first picked up my Z I noticed the three indicator lights just dangling around with no home..

confused I made a post asking what i was missing and why it would be missing..

I then find out I have Pro taper handlebars which no longer allow the use of the factory dash piece to house the three indicator lights (temp reverse neutral)

I teamed up with another member on here and ended up creating these .080" thick stainless steel dash boards for use with aftermarket handlebars..i thought they came out sweet..

i sandblasted them and will hopefully be powdercoating them once I get my kit

What lifted is saying is you aren't the first to make them. One of our most active members, Spize, has been making these for quite some time. Now Spize has passed the torch and we another member(forget who) who is now producing them. In other words, you aren't the original. However members are always looking for stuff like this.

I'll be posting a pict soon of the dash that I came up with for my kids quad. Decentz89 is helping me get it made, he's a great guy to deal with.

For the 09+, could you just replace the key hole w/ another indicator light hole? Maybe stagger the pattern even?

LOL.... It's just one extra hole... looks no different. I WILL (seriuosly, I will! lol)get pics this weekend... If you need the dash I can mail it to you as well.....
