I believe the major difference is it's on when in the on position, ours is only on when the engine is on(vacuum). Search the Raptor petcock mod or I am sure someone can explain better if I am not wrong, i only got it because of the off and it was a great deal.

So since I was sick today(cough cough ) I decided to do some work on the quad. Here is how far I made it today, pretty proud of myself since I did it all solo.

Although I am kicking myself in the @ss as I forgot to put the chain on before the swing arm. So now I have to break the link to do, but still easier than removing the swing arm.

Nice! Reminds me of when I was rebuilding my Z and my frame was white like that one.

Looks really good man, nice work. Next winters project for me will be stripping it all down and powder coating the frame.

Yeah I dont know what I am gonna do. I feel like taking the chain apart at the master link and putting it back together might be easier than fooling with that swing arm again. It's a WooterWooterWooterWooterWooter to do solo.

Ok so I decided to do the lower a arm mod, according to said mod, 2005 and up uses ricky stator yamaha joints [RS3003]. They arrived today, here's a pic, I think they look a little large, hopefully I am wrong. The a arms are at the PC'er still.

Some updated pics...

So far we've got new powder coating obviously, new rear sprocket, all new bearings all around, new pivot bolt, new steering bushing, new SS tie rods with ends, new Pro Tapers, new ASV's, getting ready to install all them and do the blob removal, new FLY billet kill switch, new ODI's, I'm sure I've forgotten some things. You get the point.

Good Idea with filling the holes with bilts but dont buy the 1.25 thread, they are 1.0 on everything except the 10mm. They are 1.25 and u wont find them in any store, you'll have to get them from someplace like the bolt depot on line.

Slowly but surely it's getting there. The white/black/silver contrast really pops. The more parts I get on there, the more I like it.
