Default Prevent wear spots on frame

Is there some kind of transparent tape or something you can put around the commonly worn out areas of the frame? Like where your boots/legs would normally rub?

I know my brother buys this stuff for his mountain bikes that protects the frame from the chain slapping on it. Its clear, sticky on the back, and comes in like a 12x12 square that he cuts up. Just gets it from some local bike shop. Maybe try that? Or they offer something similar that drag racers use on the back fender/bumper/wheel well to protect from all the flying rubber and rocks but not sure where they get it.

Just looked into it. Are you talking about the 3M scotch guard paint film? I think I may buy some of that stuff because it seems that it will do well for what I need it for.

We covered my brothers Raptors Frame with some of our vinyl from our shop. We put a black base and covered it with yellow perf'ed (what we use on windows). It gives it a carbon fiber look. Works great, The Z has no where near the amount of frame showing thou. When I do mine here real soon, maybe I'll make templates and be able to offer something.

KFXGuy recommend this to me, and I know he's using it on his.

Clear 3M Film

But if Chris has something, check with him first.
