Default Dash suggestions.. Igition switch to long??

So I grabbed this dash off a member sometime last year or so.. decided I wanted to toss it on. It has all the holes cut perfectly to match the stock dash. Problem is.. the bottom of the ignition switch hits the top of the steering stem.

First attempt with washers on the shelf to see how it would look.


Second attempt using the stock top part of the bar hold...




Thoughts?

Confused.. when you say flip it around you mean place it so the ignition in on top.. IE Lights on bottom of dash and ignition on top.. spin 180?

Yep, that may do it. I know on my tag mount, the ignition switch was in front and the lights were towards the back.

Lookin good! Not sure if it'd work the other way with an aftermarket stem, maybe that's what it was designed for. Looks good the way you have it though, with those allen bolts.

Yea gonna go shopping tomorrow for the bolts.. or anything close. Just don't want to use the stock stem bolts with the caps on them.

Allan head bolts will look much better. I didn't know how flipping it would look but I think it looks good.

If you get an aftermarket clamp with a little higher rise, you could flip it the other way..
