I bought these but there a tad hard to take out if you take apart the plastics a lot.

Do the ones with the screw in the middle last longer? The ones around my seat/tank have those ones, not sure if those are stock, or PO put in there? They seem to last longer, but could it be that they are hidden, and less prone to stress?

I lost all mine a long time ago. Zip ties are cheap, and hold the plastic together better. I don't mind sacrificing a few when ever it needs to come apart. I even added a few extras to keep it together better.

X3 for the Zip ties. I've used them quite a bit to hold down my Z's plastics. Like CFM said, Its not a big deal if you have to cut'em to get your plastics off. There cheap and you can pretty much get'em anywhere.

That's funny you say that. The two by my tank have screws in them also. I put them there when I realized I lost the other two. Just happened to have them in my misc drawer.

I bought a ton on ebay about a year ago. They were very inexpensive, in fact I want to say I got 60 for $20 or so. The head on they is not as large as the OEM ones but the snug up really good and are easy to remove when necessary. I think I got them from a china based seller. I'll look to see if I can find that deal again for you.
