Today I installed my speedo sensor. I used the bolt, thing went in fine. Then I drilled a hole is the disc guard, all was well. Tested it while on the jack stand, it was fine clearance wise. Put the wheel on, took it for a spin, all was well. Made a u-turn, guess I hit the front brakes to slow down, when I did, something changed and the sensor bolt started to rub against the brake caliper plate. Rubbed the magnetic part almost off. I have the YFZ front calipers, not sure if that matters. So now I have no speedo. I ordered a replacement sensor bolt just now. I guess I have to grind down the caliper plate to make it all fit???? Any thoughts?

At least you see where its rubbing now, just trim the caliper plate.

Sorry I didn't see this sooner. I drilled and tapped the billet lonestar mounts I have. Don't even try it in the stock mounts. They will break after you drill a tiny hole in them. Don't ask how I know.

Ive had no problem with mine, with the yfz calipers. Maybe you have a problem with your wheel bearing or spindle? Is there play in it?

Which stock mounts are you refering to?

No bearings are all new, light no play. Weird, I have no idea what the hell caused the change. Cost me $20 to order a new magnetic kit from trail tech. Wish there was a way to change the RPM range from 12,000 down to like 9,000 and magnify the 9,000 all the way across. I feel like there isn't going to be much usage in the higher end RPM's.

He is talking about the stock handle bar mounts and how he mounted his dash for his vapor.
