I used DDM tuning for my kit. Excellent kit for under $75 and 100x smaller than the lexus setup I had on before.

Plug and play would be nice. They also had one listed for an LTR. Maybe one of these new LTR owners on this site could check if they have the same socket on their light wiring as the Z.
The biggest issue I see is the price. Those kits are $169.00..........on sale.
You can buy a slim ballast, H6m kit for $45 now. For my money I'm cutting a few wires

Well I can tell you this..........and hell I may be wrong. I'd say anything under $150 or so is made in China. At that point they are all the same. Mine were about 80 bucks 3 or 4 years ago. That was the cheap kit back then. That kit would be one of the $50 kits now. I have had zero issues with mine.

If you feel better about buying American then search out a kit for $200 and I'd still make sure it doesn't say "made in China" on it. I hate buying crap from China but choices are limited and it's getting harder and harder.
You can blame our un-bending prima donna unions for the fall of US manufacturing............

I kind of have a feeling that they are all made at the same factory and just have different stickers on them. Make sure you get a set that has the slim ballasts, much smaller and easier to fit on the quad. I mistakenly ordered a set for my truck that didn't have the slim ballasts and they were pretty big. I will look up who I bought both mine from, they shipped fast and were cheap. Both sets still working after a year.

ebay store: xenonfactory

Size you want is H6M. You should be able to find a kit for about $35-40 shipped, thats what mine were.

I can't even remember what the factory size is, but that is what I used. Just a couple chops and splices in the wires, find where you want to mount the ballasts, and you are good to go. A 35 watt kit gives more than enough light, no need to get the 55w.

HID install pics

This is how I mounted my ballasts. you can only see one mounted in the one picture. I used sheet metal screws to hold the ballasts to the headlight housing. There is other places to put them though, the nice part about mounting to the headlight itself is that when you take your plastics or headlight off, it is only one plug needed to remove either, just like stock.
