Default tough HID decision

Ive got a debate goin amongst my friends. yellow or blue HID's on a white z400? hopefully the reviews on here will help with the decision.

What are you looking for? More "show" or more usefull light? If you want more light, then go with a 4300k -5000k bulb. 6000k isnt bad either but has a little blue tint to it with pretty good light output. I run those on my truck.

I've got 6K and the blue is not noticable. There is a touchmore light output on 5K and 43K just like Hughes said.
If you don't mind giving up light output I'd go yellow for functionality.

i think yellow would look B.A. it would look like the road course cars with the yellow headlights and i think that would look pretty cool. plus i have yellow HIDs in my trucks fog lights and it is like daylight. however i am also going to put led underbod lights in it that have blue also, so im still undecided.

Ok so my friend just told me that the K of HIDs is the brightness of em. he told me that i could get 30k yellow or blue HIDs. WTH?

No...your friend is wrong. Plain and simple. K= Kelvin color. The higher the color the more blue then to purple. Your most light output and closest to white or natural light is 4300K, then 5000K which has a very slight blue hue to it.

K is actually temperature that's rated in degrees Kelvin. But the color and the temperature go hand in hand. Hughesc99 is very right that the closest output to natural light is 4300k and 5000k.
