PRM cargo rack

Well I have put off getting a rack for years because I didn't want to take away from the sport quad look but,,, I'm so tired of not being able to carry drinks and gas for the long trail rides. I just ordered one of these prm cargo racks. Anyone have one? I know they will twist the subframe if twisted buy, but Im just a trail rider and if wreck, I'll get a new subframe! I'll post some pics when I get it.

I don't think they take away that much. I ran one on my V for a little bit. It was polished and I sold it cuz I had a black one also. There top notch racks. I modded mine to work with another grab bar though so I cut the drop down bar off of mine.

I found one in great shape on ebay this AM. For some reason I had the same thought to look into a rack at work this morning. Weird..

Good deal, I payed 211 total but,,,,03 is different from 04 up. Just make sure it will work.

If you look at the ebay listing itself, it says 04-08. This will not fit the 03, from what I can tell.

03 has u- bolts, the one on eBay is 04 and up. Prm does still make the 03, I just ordered one. Pn#LZ432 for 03'

Well, here it is mounted! I know all the mx guys are going to be talkings kittens dying, mounting a rack on a z but, I love this thing! I'm too old to race, it's strictly a trail quad. The two sides are made to fit 1 gal. Gas cans and the middle is for a cooler. Best money I have spent!

Can you take pics of where it mounts on the subframe ? Also how much was that seat cover. Im in desperate need of 1 lol.

This is the 03 set up, I used rubber tape where the u bolts wrap around. The seat cover was part of the graphics set. I would not recommend it at all. The plastic on the sides is hard to put on and started to crack within a year. I would get a plain gripper seat cover!

I bought that one I posted from ebay, haven';t used it yet but looks good on the bike. Overall review is its a great product, quality design and welds.

I found that out after my first trip out haha. After that I made a cooler for my six pack rack that could fit pounders in it. I lined the bottom and top of the cooler with a water resistant foam, and made figure 8 type pieces of foam to put around the cans. the lid would almost close, so I would double bungee it tight. Ice fit around all the beverages, and they got a bit shaken but they were so cold they hardly foamed.
