Default GoPro 960 hd

Been looking on rocky mountain and see they have the 960hd for $150. Just wanted to hear from anyone that has this camera and What you think of it. Also how's the battery life, and does it eat up a lot of memory on the card quickly?? I really want to get one but just thought i would ask first. Thanks for the help!

You really can't go wrong.. GoPro's are great camera's, no matter what model you get. If you're looking for a really good helmet camera that will put out very clear, crisp HD video but don't quite need the full effect of the GoPro Hero 1080 or GoPro Hero 2 (basically the same thing, with a few extra little nice features.) then the 960 will suit you just fine. You really can't go wrong for $150.

Here is my beef with my 960.

It takes awesome video. BUT at 960 when you edit the video and render it again you lose the quality.

With a 1080 I can edit it with photoshop11 cs4 then render the video and it looks just as good as it did straight out of the camera.

Ive tried many different softwares/video editors and haven't found one that will render the 960 and not drop resolution.

Here is a video with my 960 unedited.

Don't get me wrong. you can't beat $150 for an awesome camera, but if you like to edit video then id go with the 1080
