If you go onto kawasaki.com and click on "Owner Info" and "Recall Info." Then enter your VIN number in the box provided. It shows the recall for the clutch cover.

Just for everyones information, Modified engines are still covered under this recall, if your dealer is giving you a hard time, call up Kawasaki/Suzuki and they will take care of it.

Went to my zuki dealer today.. I guess they just found out today and havent recieved any parts. The have me sched. for the 1st of july. But they are claiming that zuki is only giving them 14 bucks per quad labor to fix.. so they are not including a full oil change, coolent change, only what is lost when removing the cover... i want to call bull on this but i dont know exactly the way to do it... i figure if they are going to change the oil filter the guys could give me new oil too like the re-call states.. ohh well...

You DEFINITELY need to hold them to the oil change and everything the recall states. I don't care if they're getting $14 or $140!!! I done ALOT of factory work and believe me, they'll get paid for their labor!! Don't back down from them!

Wow.. Thats the biggest pile of horse #$%@ ive ever seen. Have them do the service and oil/coolant change, and when they try to bill you for it, tell them you wont pay it, its covered on the warranty. If they still give you crap, call suzuki right there, from their phone. it will be handled.

I find it surprising that just 3 weeks ago the customer service reps at Suzuki Canada told me that there is no known problem with coolant leaking internally in the 2006 ltz400, and I must be the only person experiencing this problem! I feel cheated!

Is this problem just affecting the 05-06, or will it affect the 07's as well??
