Default questions about riding gear

what ways do you guys use to clean your gear? more spacific helmets? im not talking about cleaning mud im talking about the inside padding. also what would cause the quad to keep a half throttle idle after being topped out for about a half mile? it had the fcr 39 btw

I pull my pads and throw them in the wash with my gear. I try to use dreft, ar any other non scented, hypo allergenic, if its good for babies its good for me. I don't want perfumes and other crap rolling down my face when i'm sweating

X2 to the above. And if you are still running the stock petcock that you very well might be draining the float bowl.

I use head and shoulders on my helmet pads. Get a raptor petcock and it'll solve that problem.
