the tires are the kt396. got them from motosports.com for $40 each..
yea i have heard good things about maximum oil... as for the chain wax, i used it on my honda shadow and it worked great.. i will say that these new tires bite stupid hard in wet dirt, not mud but once you blow the dry loose dirt away, and get to that dark moist below, these suckers bite hard and dont let up.. i have to watch it in 3rd gear as it will pull the front tires.... thus far im loving them except that they are taller then i was wanting... |

I personally dont suggest running full sythentic on those motors cause in my past experience it causes the clutch to not operate correctly, I know others havent had this problem but me and a few friends have... The R on the other hand is ok cause the motor and clutch are seperated half and half so i run syn and reg gear oil
As far as the tires, why did you go for stocker styles and not some aftermarket?

This oil is a semi synthetic.
I got these tires because of price. The cheapest I was able to find holeshots was 150 plus shipping and I also need an oil change and chain wax so that would have put me well over $200 which I diddent have to spend.. I'm happy with the tires and for $80 they were a great price |

NEVER order tires from a dealer...never. Rocky Mountain ATV probably has the best prices for tires...anyway as for the oil, any oil that dosen't have the additives that cars have for gas milage is ok. They should say something like atv/mc approved. They make both synthetic and non synthetic types. You should run synthetic because the gears/clutch are breaking down the oil even more. I'm sure the oil you got is atv/mc oil because its made by maxima..
