Default YBN chain?

Really hate to start another thread on chains, but has anyone used YBN brand of drive chain? Supposed to be rated at 7700 tensil strength and is O-ring. Is this the same chain as the cheap ebay ones?

P.s I used the google search and it turned up ten pages of someones sig with ybn cam chain in it or ybn wasnt included in search when entered normally.

Never heard of it, If you're looking to save a few bucks on a chain, I'd recommend getting a standard chain from DID, RK / EK, or Tsubaki.

Google , Yaban YBN Chain, factory is in vietnam, and they make bicycle chains too.

well they make cam chains also, Ive heard of them looking for cam chains last fall but am not sure of their quality, Only reason I was asking is this place I was going to order a bbk from has that brand as their only kit. I emailed advantage about doing a deal on a bbk and a chain kit, but who knows if they will do it. Just dont want to pay double shipping costs from two places if I can get it all from one.

Guess I'm a little unsure, are you asking about cam chains or final drive chains? Either way it is a critical piece of hardware. If either one breaks, the money you'll spend on repairs is going to far outweigh whatever you save now.

interested in buying drive chain. I was looking around on the bay, and putting together different combo's, I can make my own setup cheaper than what they offer with better chain. Oh I think it was your sig Dbiasii that kept poppin up on my search

my ybn cam chain stretched and wore out in a couple months. I posted in a few threads about it and it also seemed that when I installed it, it wasn't as tight as it should be and my tensioner was already over half way out. I ended up getting a D.I.D for it.
