My Kenda Klaws got eight sidewall cuts in one ride. I did think that the rears slide like "poetry in motion". I have heard great things about the ITP Quadcross tires, and then there is the proven Razr MX tires.

I did what zookie400 said, the leak was coming from a little bit of dirt that worked its way in between the bead and rim. Should be all set now.. Is that what beadlocks are for? keeping crap out?

Beadlocks will deffinantly help with that issue. Beadlocks are made so the tire doesn't come off the bead on rough landings or when you slam into corners. Also when you get a flat you can ride on it almost completely flat with beadlocks.

If you're racing beadlocks are a must.

I forget who but I know someone makes a 6 ply 18 inch rear. I love 6 ply anything ill play a little more for the 6 ply because they last longer than 2 or 4.

i used to run holeshots and wasnt really too impressed with the mxr6's or any other model at that. i grabbed some razr 2s and they made a huge difference. seems to be holeshots wear down alot quicker and i blew up 3 pairs of them in one year.

STI Tech 4. They come in MX and XC versions. The MX is 4-ply, and the XC is 6-ply.

I don't track race so I can't attest to that, but as far as trail riding goes I ride ITP Holeshot HD's. They are a 6 ply tire, I've never had any issues with them, just bought my second set.
